Lanitek Software LLC ("Lanitek") operates the Monster Cache web site and Monster Cache mobile applications (collectively known as "Monster Cache"). It is Lanitek’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating Monster Cache.

Non-Personally-Identifying Information

Like most website operators, Lanitek collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Lanitek also collects non-personally-identifying information about your mobile device, such as operating system and version. Lanitek’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how Lanitek’s visitors use Monster Cache. From time to time, Lanitek may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of Monster Cache. Lanitek also collects anonymous Monster Cache user location ldata via Google Analytics based on Internet Protocol (IP) addresses.

Gathering of Personally-Identifying Information

Interaction with Monster Cache requires Lanitek to gather personally-identifying information. The amount and type of information that Lanitek gathers depends on the nature of the interaction. For example, registering a Monster Cache account requires that users provide a first name or nickname, an email address, and U.S. state or non-U.S. country. Those who engage in further transactions with Monster Cache may be required to or given the option to provide additional information, such as optionally providing a profile picture and biography. In each case, Lanitek collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with Monster Cache. Since the goal of Monster Cache is to visit predetermined GPS coordinates, Monster Cache also keeps track of which particular GPS coordinates you have visited. Your name, state, number of GPS coordinates visited, and other supplied personally-identifying information other than email address may be displayed to others through a Monster Cache profile page or leader board. Exact locations of GPS coordinates visited are not disclosed to others in Version 1.2 or below of Monster Cache, but features may be in the future that can expose GPS coordinates that a Monster Cache user has visited. Lanitek does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described above and below. And visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain Monster Cache-related activities.

Aggregated Statistics

Lanitek may collect statistics about the behavior of Monster Cache users. For instance, Lanitek may monitor the number of user logins per day. Lanitek may display this information publicly or provide it to others. However, Lanitek does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.

Protection of Certain Personally-Identifying Information

Lanitek discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on Lanitek’s behalf or to provide services available through Monster Cache, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. By using Monster Cache, you consent to the transfer of such information to them. Lanitek will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone. Other than to its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations, as described above, Lanitek discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only in response to a subpoena, court order or other governmental request, or when Lanitek believes in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of Lanitek, third parties or the public at large. If you are a registered user of Monster Cache and have supplied your email address, Lanitek may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what’s going on with Lanitek and our products. We expect to keep this type of email to a minimum. If you send us a request (for example via a support email or via one of our feedback mechanisms), we reserve the right to publish it in order to help us clarify or respond to your request or to help us support other users. Lanitek takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information.

Monster Cache users who do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers or phones should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using Monster Cache, with the drawback that certain features of Monster Cache may not function properly without the aid of cookies.

Business Transfers

If Lanitek, or substantially all of its assets, or the Monster Cache product were acquired, or in the unlikely event that Lanitek goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, user information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of Lanitek or Monster Cache may continue to use your personal information as set forth in this policy.
